Front country (roadside) campgrounds are well signed from highways and usually notices on the signs indicate when a campground is full or closed. Serviced campgrounds (water, sewer, and electrical hook-ups) are limited. Primitive or unserviced campgrounds have no electricity, running water or flush toilets – instead pit toilets and water pumps. Unserviced campgrounds are often more scenic than serviced ones.
